- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. oyster sauce
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 cup water
- Green onions, chopped (optional)
Equipment
- Wok or large skillet
- Large pot for boiling noodles
- Knife for slicing beef and vegetables
- Cutting board
- Measuring spoons and cups
Method
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the rice noodles and cook according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, black pepper, and water. Set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
- Add the beef and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 3-5 minutes.
- Remove the beef from the wok and set aside.
- Add the onion, bell peppers, and bean sprouts to the wok and stir-fry until the vegetables are just tender, about 2-3 minutes.
- Return the beef to the wok and add the cooked noodles.
- Pour the sauce over the beef, vegetables, and noodles and toss until everything is coated.
- Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes, until everything is heated through.
- Garnish with chopped green onions, if desired, and serve hot.
Notes
- If you can't find wide rice noodles, you can substitute with any other type of noodle that you prefer.
- Feel free to add or substitute vegetables to your liking.
