Ingredients

Method

  1. Soak the sticky rice in water for at least 3 hours.
  2. Drain the water from the sticky rice.

  4. Mix the rice well and transfer it to a steamer basket lined with parchment paper.

  7. Drain the water from the shrimp, pork floss, and mushrooms.
  8. Cut the mushrooms into small pieces.
  9. In a wok or frying pan, heat up the vegetable oil.
  10. Add the shrimp, pork floss, and mushrooms to the wok and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  11. Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch to the wok and stir-fry for another minute.
  12. Take the rice out of the steamer basket and spread it out on a flat surface.
  13. Spoon the filling onto the rice and roll it up tightly.
  14. Steam the rolls for another 10 minutes.
  15. Take the rolls out of the steamer and let them cool for 5 minutes.
  16. Cut the rolls into bite-sized pieces and serve.

  • You can use any filling you like for these rolls, such as ground pork or beef, shredded carrots, or even cheese.
  • Make sure to soak the rice for at least 3 hours before cooking.
